Frequently Asked Questions

*Please note, we do not do body piercing.*

What are your hours?

All the artists at Bee Tattoos work by appointment only, so we do not have set hours. If you would like to schedule time with one of our artists please email them directly, or call or text the shop at 740-990-7041.

Why do you prefer appointments?

Working by appointment helps us to better tattoos!

Do I need a consultation?

If you are interested in a large piece or multi-session work, your artist will likely need to meet with you prior to booking any tattoo appointments. If you are looking for a smaller tattoo - maybe the size of a baseball or smaller - you may not need a consultation.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment by contacting an artist directly through their email, or call or text the shop at 740-990-7041 and we will pass your message off to the right person.

Do you require a retainer fee for booking?

Yes. The amount of the retainer fee may vary by artist or project. The fee is usually subtracted from your total amount due on the day your tattoo is completed

THE RETAINER IS NONREFUNDABLE.

If you need to reschedule, the retainer will ONLY be transferred to the new appointment if you provide more than 48-hour notice of reschedule. If you no call/no show for any scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay for the tattoo in full to rebook.

How do you estimate cost?

Estimates are generally based on the artist's individual hourly rate. Detail, size, and placement of the tattoo are all part of pricing a tattoo, so there is no exact way to measure cost. Your artist will be able to provide you with a general estimate once they know the details of your project.

Do you have a shop minimum?

Yes. The shop minimum is $120, but each artist has a personal minimum that may be higher.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, card, PayPal, and Venmo.

What do I do if I'm unable to keep a scheduled appointment?

Please call or text the shop at740-990-7041 or email your artist as soon as possible. Life happens, so it's completely understandable if you have to cancel or reschedule! Be sure to give as much notice as possible so you artist can try to fill the opening. Less than 48-hours notice will result in the forfeiture of your retainer and you will need to pay a new retainer to reschedule. More than two reschedules voids your original retainer and you would have to pay an additional fee to rebook.

Do you guarantee your work?

Absolutely! Not all tattoos heal the same and sometimes touch-ups are necessary. Most artists will work with you on the best way to go about this if needed. For tattoos on the hands or feet, there will always be a need for continued touch-up work. Sometimes the artist will charge a set-up fee for any needed touchups. If you are unsatisfied with your tattoo in any way, please let us know! We will do whatever we can to address the situation.

Do you do body piercing?

No.
